Criteria Laws Must Meet

  1. Serves the greater good for the greater number–the majority of the population will benefit. No law can solve a problem 100%
  2. Benefits outweigh disadvantages. Though there may be disadvantages, the advantages out weigh them.
  3. Solves the problem without creating more problems.
  4. Status quo is adequate, thus law not necessary
  5. Language of the law–poorly written, vague, confusing
  6. Law is not constitution
  7. Law should be enforceable, who will enforce the law
  8. Law is weak, won’t do what it is intended to do
  9. Doesn’t contradict other law
  10. Moral

These criteria will become reason why should/should not vote for an amendment.
