Criteria Laws Must Meet
- Serves the greater good for the greater numberthe majority of the population will benefit. No law can solve a problem 100%
- Benefits outweigh disadvantages. Though there may be disadvantages, the advantages out weigh them.
- Solves the problem without creating more problems.
- Status quo is adequate, thus law not necessary
- Language of the lawpoorly written, vague, confusing
- Law is not constitution
- Law should be enforceable, who will enforce the law
- Law is weak, wont do what it is intended to do
- Doesnt contradict other law
- Moral
These criteria will become reason why should/should not vote for an amendment.
