An Online Resource of Colorado Writers and Texts
With this site, users will be able to locate texts by Colorado writers according to genre, reading level, author, and subject. Each text includes a critical summary that provides educators, students, and general readers with the ability to make informed decisions about reading choices.
This site remains in process and is by no means a definitive source for every Colorado writer. Because the site is in process, and will remain so for the foreseeable future, please check back regularly for added writers and titles. The writers you will find here have a significant connection to Colorado, and these connections include writers who have lived or have been living in Colorado for a reasonable amount of time and writers who spend a great deal of time in Colorado.
To be included in this resource, texts must be readily available to public readers. Self-published and self-circulated texts, therefore, are typically not included on this site. Texts published only in other sources, such as journals, magazines, or edited collections, are not included on this site. Although some texts found here may be out of print, copies may be found at local libraries.
