On this page, we hope to stir your thinking about issues and ideas as they intersect with the theoretical and the tangible: in short, to make education more practical and relevant for everyone. Culture Clash!

  • With the near-immersion Americans and much of the world is getting on Iraqi culture, what is the most effective way to build a community of citizens between Iraq and the rest of the world?
  • Is Japan a valid model for reconstructing a post-war Iraq?
  • What role should the U.N. play? The Allies? The Arab world?
  • How can we minimize the dissonance and misunderstandings between what Iraqis need and what American wants?
