Karen Reynolds is
an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of
Regina. She was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 1986.
Jennifer DeHayes-Rice
is a student at the University of Northern Colorado. She is in her senior
year and is majoring in elementary education with an emphasis in English.
She is hoping to attend graduate school and do her graduate studies in
the field of journalism. Her literacy interests include writing pros and
poetry, reading classics and children's literature, and inspiring service
learning through literature in her students.
Ed Comber (MA)
is a full-time composition instructor at Central Michigan University,
where he teaches both freshman and advanced composition courses. His primary
research interests are in teaching methods and practices and the relationship
emotions or affective discourses play in student-authored texts.
Kanalis Ockree,
CPA, PhD is an associate professor of accounting in the Washburn University
School of Business. Writing fiction and poetry provides an essential creative
outlet that contrast with her normal academic pursuits. Her research focuses
on management's use of accounting information and on accounting technology.
Erica Woiwode
is a graduate student in Literature and Writing Studies at California
State University, San Marcos. She is currently working on her Masters
thesis in Creative Writing. She has had poems published in several poetry
journals and publications in San Diego and Los Angeles. Erica teaches
first-year writing at CSUSM, and is a classical pianist and piano teacher.
