Contributors to March AE-Extra
[Issue 2/2008]

Lynne Fukuda, an instructor of Anthropology at Windward Community College, a part-time instructor of Biology at Hawaii Pacific University, and an instructor at Central Texas College, based in Hawaii at Schofield Barracks.  Ms Fukuda is a regular contributor to this journal in her monthly column, “The View from Here.”  Her previous column, "Fukuda's Chalkboard," can be found in the January-August 2002 editions of this journal, as well as various other writings in the 2001 editions.

Dan Lukiv, M.Ed., teaches English and creative writing at McNaughton Centre, Quesnel, BC, Canada. He is a poet, novelist, short story and article writer, and an independent education researcher. His writing has appeared over two thousand times in 18 countries. His formal apprenticeship as a writer includes intensive personal direction from masters such as Canada's Professor Robert Harlow, the USA's Paul Bagdon, and England's D. M. Thomas. He edits a literary journal, CHALLENGER international, which focuses attention on young, up-and-coming Canadian poets. He also edits The Journal of Secondary Alternate Education. He is married and has four daughters.

Jason Caudill, a doctoral student in Instructional Technology at the University of Tennessee, is an MBA and Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Carson-Newman College.  Caudill’s research interests are in technical management and online education.  He has recently published chapters on mobile technology in two books with The Idea Group and has presented extensively at a wide variety of technology conferences.  Currently, Caudill is working on his dissertation.
                                           
Vanessa Raney is currently an Associate of Arts student with an emphasis in Economics at Frederick Community College. Beginning summer 2008, she will be taking classes toward a graduate certificate in Environmental Management at the University of Maryland University College. She hopes to continue on to an MA or Ph.D. program in 2009.

David Wilde is a researcher/independent scholar at the University of New Mexico Center for Southwest Research in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is currently completing a biography of a Navy commander originally from the southwest USA Colorado/New Mexico region soon to be published by Mellen Press in New York.
